The Beauty aspect of my blog is basically everything that makes you beautiful inside and out, because they are equally as important. It’s important to look good, feel good and do good and this can be accomplished my making over your soul and your wardrobe alike.
When it comes to your exterior there’s one thing I’ve had in mind for a while: “when you look good, you feel good, you do good.” I had a best friend tell me this once when I was kinda slackin on my mackin in the “looks” department. I was going through a lot in my life and I put pampering myself on the back burner, because I was certain I had bigger fish to fry. But when he said this, it made nothing but sense. You have to take care of yourself and when you do your attitude towards everything automatically changes.
That’s why I write posts about health, fitness, beauty and fashion. It’s important to treat yourself right simply because you’re worth it. I know.. I know. It sounds like a Cover Girl commercial, but it’s true. Think about when you’ve been hitting the gym and you lose those first two pounds. Or when you step out in some new stilettos and everyone’s drooling over them. Or, fellas, when you get that fresh lineup after lookin o-so shaggy. I’m just sayin, a mani-pedi can go a long way in your life. Guys, you too.. get up on that mani-pedi one time.
And the other key to my Beauty aspect is, of course, the interior. Being a beautiful person is to be a beautiful soul. Everyone’s driving force in life should include being a good and beautiful person. I know it’s mine. I do realize this is a conscious effort, because it’s hard to do right in a world that’s most times o-so wrong.
For your inner beauty I write posts about wisdom, community service, role models and faith. My hippie side comes out a bit in this aspect that’s for sure, but I really wish to condition your souls with these posts.
Beauty is not about being vain, it’s about being the best you. Don’t sell yourself short; be the most beautiful person you can be.
Mucho Love
